Leftovers...the entire reason we have turkey for Thanksgiving, right? Nothing better than a turkey sandwich on Wonder bread (has to be soft and squishy) with mayo (or Miracle Whip...the only time MW is allowed), maybe some gravy. Or cold stuffing. Dang, I like stuffing.

Anyway, to make sure you can eat the leftovers without ending up curled up in a ball wishing fo the sweet release of death, follow these guidelines from The Daily Meal.

1) The Turkey

It'll keep in the fridge three to four days, it'll keep in the freezer for over a year. If you freeze it, I SUPER recommend breaking it up into single or double serving size freezer bags, so you can get grab it out of the freezer, let it defrost in the fridge and add it to whatever you're going to eat.  Tear the turkey apart to keep it in the fridge.

2) Taters

Fried mashed potato pancakes with eggs for breakfast is AWESOME! Mashed they'll keep in the fridge, a year frozen (if the container is airtight). But, if they're baked, they will NOT freeze well.

3) Stuffing

I'm not lying when I say I could eat stuffing 3 days a week. Because I have. Simple stove top, cooked up, add some diced pork or pulled turkey, and bam. Dinner. In an airtight container, stuffing'll last 3-5 days in the fridge. But it'll never taste as good as that first day.

4) Gravy!

In the fridge, gravy'll go bad after about 2 days. Reheat it to a boil. If you have a lot of leftover gravy, pour it into ice-cube trays and once frozen, put in a freezer bag. It'll last 4 months in the fridge.
