The Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office announced Monday afternoon that they had arrested a juvenile after threats were posted on social media about 'shooting and stabbing up' a school in the Cleveland Public School District. 

According to the press release:

On Sunday, January 13th, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office received information that a threat directed at the Cleveland Public School had been posted on a social media group chat site.  Le Sueur County Deputies investigated the matter immediately obtaining a copy of the group chat where references to shooting and stabbing up the school were made.

Le Sueur County Deputies were able to identify, locate and interview the individuals involved.  Subsequently, one juvenile male was arrested and charged with Felony Terroristic Threats.

According to Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett V.P. Mason, there is currently no threat to the Cleveland Public School or the Community.
