As the fall leaves are changing colors and temperatures get progressively cooler, I have a few things I am hoping to get accomplished this season. Fall always seems to fly by, but I'm hoping to cross at least a few of these off the list.

  • Attend at least one more big bonfire.
  • Carve a pumpkin, skill and creative design not required.
  • Spend an afternoon taking a long walk at the River Bend Nature Center.
  • Roast pumpkin seeds.
  • Go on a hayride with friends.
  • Visit a haunted trail or haunted house.
  • Celebrate Halloween.
  • Watch the Thanksgiving Day parade.
  • Take a scenic drive and enjoy the beauty of fall in Minnesota.
  • Visit a brewery or winery and take a tour.
  • Visit friends and family that I haven't seen for awhile.
  • Play with my pup in the fallen leaves.
  • Go apple picking.
  • Get lost in a corn maze.

How are you planning to spend the fall days?
