The Knights upped their record to 10-0 with a four-set win over Lake City in the Tiger gym Tuesday night.

The first set was a 30-28 victory for Lake City. The Tigers jumped out to a big lead only to see Kenyon-Wanamingo tie it at 19. The Knights had two set points and Lake City had four set points before the set came to a close.

Kenyon-Wanamingo dominated the next two sets by scores of 25-9 and 25-15, and in a tight contest pulled out the fourth set 25-20. The match ended on a ace serve by Knights junior Mara Quam.

Our Kenyon Holden Warsaw Insurance of Wanamingo Knights of the match were Quam, Megan Flom and setters Siri Quam and Mia Peterson.

Flom tallied 19 kills and four ace serves and Mara Quam had 14 kills and four aces. The Knights had 11 ace serves and six service errors on the night. Lake City collected seven aces and had six errors.

The Knights were coming off a sweep of the competition in their home invitational tournament over the weekend and are 10-0 to start the season. However, head coach Jen Nerison says there's still plenty for the team to work on.

Lake City is now 2-4. The Tigers host Goodhue and the Knights entertain Byron on Thursday night.
