The Kids React series on YouTube is a never-ending fountain of entertainment, providing realtime reactions to artists that have become a part of our cultural canon. In the past, the series has shown kids reacting to some of rock's best including Nirvana, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses and more.

This time, the video series brings children face-to-face with one of the most notorious heavy metal bands to rise to fame in the 80s, Motley Crue. Most of the kids have no clue who they were based on the name, aside from one girl who recognized them based on her dad's car radio listening habits.

Things kick off with "Looks That Kill," and the over the top theatricality throws the kids for a loop immediately. They're unable to tell whether or not Vince Neil is a boy or a girl, one kid going so far as to saying they look like a "rip off KISS." But overall they seem to be digging it, although some are thrown off.

For the original video for "Home Sweet Home," more of the kids recognize it from the first, and are completely convinced they're all wearing wigs, and are taken aback by the theatricality. "Wild Side" wins more of them over, the straight up performance nature of it and undeniable catchiness still appealing to even kids of today. Not to mention of course, Tommy Lee's wild drum kit in the video.

They wrap the video up with "Kickstart My Heart," "Dr. Feelgood" and "Girls, Girls, Girls," not actually showing the videos to the latter two due to their adult content. At the end, the children recognize why the band might be popular, given the loudness the band comes up with as well as their theatricality. None of them can fathom that they've sold 100 million records, and are mixed about whether the teenagers of today would accept them. Definitely an interesting look at Motley Crue from a way different perspective than usual!
