The members of Kiss have already teamed up with Hello Kitty for toilet paper and an animated series. This Thanksgiving, they'll take their relationship a step further by performing in the shadow of a gigantic Hello Kitty balloon.

The magic will happen at the 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, scheduled to take place Nov. 27 and air on NBC. Along with the usual festivities, which include dozens of parade floats and scores of floating pop culture icons, this year's event will include an appearance from Kiss, who have agreed to deliver what's being described as a "special performance."

Juli Boylan-Riddles, an executive with the licensing company Epic Rights, shared her excitement about the show, saying, "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the most popular and visually spectacular holiday parade in America, and there is no doubt that Kiss, unequalled in the world of concert performance, will deliver stunning theatrics at the Parade."

"2014 has been a banner year for us and participating in one of the country's most beloved events caps off what has truly been a spectacular 40th anniversary," added Kiss co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. "We can't wait to rock the Big Apple with our fans on Thanksgiving."

The parade adds another stop to what's been a busy year of touring for the band, and comes just a few days after Kiss concludes its residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
