Rudy Gatlin Joins Rod Johnson on KDHL AM Minnesota

The Shepherd Center of the Cannon Valley of Cannon Falls is having another fundraising concert next weekend and their Executive Director and former KDHL Farm Director Rod Johnson joins on on AM Minnesota 9:30 this morning.

Also scheduled to be with us is Rudy Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers group.

They will be the talent featured during the fundraising concert in the Cannon Falls High School Auditorium on Sunday, September 24.

The Shepherd's Center's motto is "Seniors serving seniors since 1995."

The center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  100 percent of their budget comes from the community and is spent in the community.

Shepherd's Center conducts a number of day trips during the year and a couple longer trips have also been taken.

In the past, they've hosted trips to the Smokey Mountains, Cape Cod, Nashville, Savannah, Washington, D.C., San Antonio and Branson.

Day trips have included the Minnesota Arboretum, Minnesota Twins, A look at the fall colors, Minnesota Timberwolves and more.

If you have an idea for a trip they are always open to suggestions.
