Have You Entered to Win Our Trans-Siberian Orchestra Getaway?
Last week we kicked off our next big getaway, and this one will have you partying in the Emerald City, otherwise known as Seattle, on New Year's Eve. You'll also be rocking out with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, plus you’ll do a meet ‘n’ greet with the band and check out some great fireworks afterward. We’ll fly you and friend out there and back, put you up for two nights in a hotel and send you out sightseeing and on a spending spree with a $500 gift card and $500 cash. Are you interested? Become a VIP and enter the contest today. Once you're a VIP, make sure you do it before the November 27 deadline.
As a little tease, here are five of my favorite Trans-Siberian Orchestra singles you'll probably see at the show:
- 1
Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24
This was what started it all for a little band called Savatage, which released this little ditty on their Dead Winter Dead album in 1995 and later on their side-project, Trans-Siberian Orchestra's album Christmas Eve and Other Stories in 1996.
- 2
Christmas Canon
This song uses John Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major" with altered lyrics and uses a children's choir instead of their usual hard rock style.
- 3
Wizards in Winter
This song works very well for TSO in concert where laser lights, flames and special effects play well with it.
- 5
Music Box Blues
This song first appeared on their second album, The Christmas Attic, and later it was included on the soundtrack for the 1999 made-for-TV Christmas show, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.
