Fox TV is presenting an updated Rocky Horror Picture show later this month, featuring original cast member Tim Curry playing a different role.

Mary Hahn and Megan Proft are going to be co-directing an updated live version of the show in Northfield on Oct. 27-29 at the Northfield Arts Guild.

They are going to have new original costumes and they have done up new choreography to go with the familiar songs that have made Rocky Horror a cult classic. And the other cool part is that audience participation in both shouting out lines and wearing costumes is permitted.

Brendon Etter is back as Frank, Shari Setchell is Janet, and Steve Lawler is Brad. Proft and Hahn will also be cast members along with Kevin Ideker, Wendy Placko, Garrick Dietze, Paul McGuire, Matt Dremth, Matthew Carney-Ubl, Ann Etter, Erika Hoelscher, Charlie Mandile, Patrick Moser, Sam Noonan, Paul Seguin and Sedrik Spradling.

For the cast, this show is a challenge because of all the dance routines.

This show is an important fundraiser for the Northfield Arts Guild. There will be performances on Oct. 27-29 at 7:30PM, with midnight performances on the 28th and 29th. The theater is at 411 W. Third St. Cost is $15 for general admission tickets and $22 for VIP. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the guild location downtown at 304 Division St., Northfield or online at northfieldartsguild.org.
