Mankato West vs Faribault Preview

Tonight at Mankato West High School the Faribault Falcons (10-12, 7-12 conf) will face the (16-6, 14-5 Conf) Mankato West Scarlets. Mankato West won at Faribault 69-38 in the first meeting but that was before the team had improved some and before Danny Ehlers came back.

Mankato west currently sits at second place in the Big 9 conference, behind Rochester John Marshall and Red wing, both teams of which are at 16-3.

Every win the rest of the way puts the Falcons in a little better shape for sections.  They host Waconia tomorrow night, Rochester Mayo Tuesday and Northfield on Friday.

Other Big 9 games tonight,Rochester Mayo is at Red wing, Rochester Century is at Winona, Northfield is at Rochester John Marshall and Albert lea is at Owatonna.
