For many Christians, the Lenten season begins on Wednesday, February 10. That means many places will be having Mardi Gras-type celebrations. In the little town of Montgomery, Minnesota, it's called Masopust. Usually meat is given up during Lent on Ash Wednesday and Fridays. And the word Masopust means "goodbye to meat."

KDHL's Gordy Kosfeld will be in Montgomery at the Legion to talk more about what's happening with this year's celebration. If you can't listen live at 9:30AM, you can check it out later on our YouTube channel.
