Mike’s Afternoon at the Christmas Spectacular 2016

Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of attending my granddaughter's dance program in the Faribault High School gymnasium. The Studio of Stars Christmas Spectacular 2016 was scheduled for a 2PM start, so we got there a little after 1PM and there was already a huge line of people waiting to get in. The program had a listing of all the dance groups and which side of the gymnasium to sit on so that you could see the dancer you were there to see.

It was fun to watch all the dance teams perform, especially the younger dancers as they begin the long road of learning different dance moves and slowly work them into the tightly choreographed numbers that will prepare them for varsity-level competition in high school.

Each troupe performed one dance and they each did a wonderful job making for an entertaining afternoon on a bone-chillingly cold day. I was so proud of my granddaughter, as she did such a wonderful job and really enjoyed the experience.
