The Great Minnesota Get Together is still a couple months away, but the music lineup is something to be excited about now!

The Minnesota State Fair has released the musical acts that will be performing at this year’s celebration, and if you enjoy rock music, consider your dance card full for the duration of the fair!

On Aug. 27 Def Leppard hits the Grandstand Stage along with Styx and Tesla; Aug. 31 catch the Happy Together Tour with The Turtles, The Association, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Grass Roots, the Cowsills and The Buckinghams. Lou Gramm, "The Voice of Foreigner," will playing on the Leinie Lodge Bandshell Tonight! stage. And on Sept. 3 see Lynyrd Skynyrd with guest Collective Soul perform in the Grandstand.

Other notable (and FREE) performances to check out at the Minnesota State Fair are Tonic Sol-Fa and Gaelic Storm Aug. 27 and 28, the U.S. Navy Band and Andy Grammar on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, Lost Highway plays Sept. 2-3, Home Free and C. Willi Myles on Sept. 6-7.
