After a stop in Northfield, the Minnesota Twins Caravan came to Basher's and the J and J Bowling Center for a noon event. Jerry Kes served up hot dogs, beans, sloppy joes, cole slaw and about 100 people got to see Twins pitchers Kyle Gibson and Glen Perkins, Kris Attebury from the Twins Radio Network, and TV broadcaster and Hall of Famer former twins pitcher Bert Blyleven, as well as TC Bear.

The Twins gave out some prizes and signed autographs before moving on to another private event in Faribault and then headed to Oakdale on Monday night before going to Albert Lea, Iowa and Rochester on Tuesday. They will be in Owatonna on Thursday night. Bert Blyleven announced that Trevor Plouffe agreed to a new $7.25 million one-year deal and avoided arbitration. And another cute moment was when 4 1/2 year old Samuel Borgerding asked TC Bear if he would come to his birthday party in June.

Thanks to the crew at Bashers for their help, the Minnesota Twins organization and to everyone who came out and made it a great event. Here are some more pictures from the day.
