If you're like me, you probably use Google on a daily basis for one thing or another. I hit up Google when searching for information on a band or musician, when I want reviews for a product or place, for addresses and phone numbers, and likely a million other things throughout the year. But have you ever wondered what everyone else is Googling? Estately recently released the list of the top Google searches by state for 2016 and I've got Minnesota's top three below!

The great state of Minnesota's top three Google searches as revealed by the Estately are Prince, Black Lives Matter and Philando Castile.

You might think that the rest of the country, or at the very least the rest of the Midwest would be more than likely Googling the same things as people in Minnesota, yet the top searches for our neighboring states were different than our own. Islamic State was Iowa's top search. Reince Priebus took the No. 1 slot for Wisconsin. "Dirty Grandpa" captured the No. 1 spot in North Dakota, and South Dakota's greatest search was Elie Wiesel.

2017 is a brand new year, with brand new Google searches to be revealed!
