Tanaisha Latriece Tennin was located in Bloomington on Monday afternoon. She had left her Brooklyn Park home after an argument with her mother at 3 am on Monday. A neighbor happened to be at a clinic for an appointment when she said she saw the girl sitting on a curb. Other children were taken into custody because of what the Police Department described is "concerning conditions" and because the mother was non cooperative.

Court documents show that child protection services has been involved with the family. There were investigations about the mom refusing medical care for her children after a car accident and an ongoing investigation into the unexplained death of an 8-year-old child in the home. The mother was convicted of malicious punishment of a child in 2008 and had faced countless more reports.

Apparently the home is infested with rodents and bugs as well.
