More Sears, Kmart Stores Shutting Down

Undated (KROC AM News) -It will soon be lights out for dozens of Sears and Kmart stores, the latest in what has become a string of closings in recent years.

Sears Holdings has announced it will close 39 more Sears stores and 64 Kmarts by May.

There are no Minnesota stores on this list.

There are 39 Sears stores in Minnesota, most of them operating under the Hometown Stores brand. There are only 7 Kmarts left, including the one in Rochester.
