Scammers are trying to steal your personal information on Facebook. Don't fall for it!

Be on the lookout for a Facebook post offering this $50 Lowe’s coupon for Mother’s Day. It's fake.

You won't save any money with it. In fact, it might cost you - a lot!  Fox 9, says people who click the link are redirected to web page that looks like Lowe's official website, but isn't. The site is 100% fake and was set up to steal your personal information.

Consider yourself warned. Don't click the coupon when you see it come across your Facebook news feed.

This isn't the first time that creeps have used the social media site to go after unsuspecting victims. In 2014, we told you about the Kohl's Free Gift Scam. In 2015, shared details on the Secret Sister gift exchange. And last year we warned you about the Hy-Vee scam.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
