It's been happening since 1892. If you have done your math correctly, that works out to 123 years. That's how long the North Morristown Celebration has been going on. For a little area of people, they do it up in a big way.

North Morristown is basically Trinity Lutheran Church and School and a cluster of farm sites. July 4 festivities start with an Opening Ceremony at 9AM, and the grounds are open until after the fireworks at 10PM. There's a parade at 10AM. A short program and lots of fun and food and just plain great old Americana can be found throughout the day. And you'll get one of the best fireworks shows around to wind up the day.

So leave your alcoholic beverages at home, come to North Morristown, get a button and some great burgers or pulled pork and maybe a piece of pie or two and kick back and have a great time. And maybe get a taste of what it was all about when it began in 1892.
