Northfield Mayor Dana Graham has announced that he will run for re-election. This would be his second term and he said in an article in the Northfield News that his re-election, along with the recently hired new city administrator, would give the city some stability. Graham has worked with four city administrators, one on an interim basis.

The article also said Graham has been working hard to improve relationships with businesses as well as working on getting youth involved on commissions and boards. He has also improved communication with the Latino community.

Ward 3 Councilor Erica Zweifel also announced she is running for re-election. She has been on the council since 2008 and said she has enjoyed her time so far, especially when it comes to seeing projects come to completion.

Councilor David Ludescher, who holds the at-large seat, said as of now, he is not planning to re-run. But could change his mind later.

Ward 2 Councilor David DeLong said he is most likely going to run, but is not ready to make a formal announcement.
