So far the weather this Saturday is going to be perfect to get out in the garage and clean it up. Now what do you do with all that stuff you don’t want anymore? Load it up in your truck and bring to the Rice County Historical Society Flea Market next Saturday, September 10, and sell it for some extra spending cash. Reserve a 10-foot-by-20-foot spot for only $20 before the day of the event or $25 that day. Make sure you bring a couple of tables or a tarp to display your wares. Set-up time is 5:30-8AM and the flea market will be open from 8AM to 2PM, rain or shine. If you’re interested in being a vendor at this event, give the Rice County Historical Society a call at (507) 332-2121.

Each year more vendors participate in this event and bring a variety of merchandise to chose from including antiques, collectibles, crafts, glassware, DVDs, games and more. There's usually bottled water and coffee available for purchase and the Rice County Historical Society Museum of History will be open to the public free of charge. There is plenty of free parking available in the fairgrounds parking area.
