Update: Victim Killed In Accident In Coates Thursday Identified

The accident happened at County Road 46 East at Highway 52 in Coates on Thursday, according to the Dakota County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Joe Leko stated the accident involved a dump truck and a passenger vehicle.

87-year-old Wanda Narum of Vadnais Heights was traveling west on County Road 46 that afternoon. She was attempting to turn onto the southbound ramp to Highway 52 when her vehicle collided with a gravel truck headed east on County Road 46. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The state patrol and Dakota County Sheriff's office are continuing their investigation.
