Paradise Center for the Arts executive director Kristen Twitchell and operations manager Julie Fakler will both join us on AM Minnesota today, and a special guest will join us on the phone.

Mark from Horizontal Hero will give us details about their show this Saturday at 7:30PM. It's an arena rock tribute concert, back by popular demand. The group opened the Queen tribute last year.

They will be playing the best of arena rock bands like Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Deep Purple, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Styx and more.

I just realized all those groups were big when I was a young man, and I still enjoy listening to them today. Somehow listening to the songs takes me back to those days and I did have the opportunity to hear a few of those groups live when they were in their prime.

Julie will update us on what's happening in the visual arts.

Recently I spoke with Julianna Skluzacek, artistic director for the Merlin Players Professional Theatre and they are excited to bring us "Calendar Girls" at the end of this month and into April.

A future AM Minnesota will have some of their cast on to discuss that fun play.
