Each week I’ll share a little bit about a pet that is available for adoption and waiting to find a good home. If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your home, pet adoption can be a very rewarding way to do so.

Meet Hugo! He is a 4-year-old beagle and miniature pinscher mix weighing in at just under 25 pounds. He likes to cozy up and play fetch, and knows the sit command. Hugo has no vision is his left eye, but gets along well with both cats and dogs, and would do well in a home with older children.

He has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations as well as being kennel trained. If you’re interested in learning more about Hugo, or about another pet available for adoption, visit safesanctuary.org for application forms and more information.

S.A.F.E Sanctuary is a local foster-based rescue and adoption program that aims to pair animals with good homes. They spay or neuter pets and work to train and socialize them during the fostering period.
