Pine Island Student on AM Minnesota 7-10-2015

Emma Culbertson of Pine Island turned 16 while studying in Italy this spring.  She left in late January and returned July 5.

She has agreed to share her experiences with our AM Minnesota listeners at the Island Pins and Pool in Pine Island.

The Island will be opening their doors early for us today and I'm looking forward to my visit with the young lady.  She was a AFS international student and did a video blog on her Facebook post while in Italy.

Emma lived with a family and learned a bit of the language before she embarked on her journey.  I was in Italy in April for a couple weeks and Emma was in the country for nearly six months.
