If you have kids that are showing an interest in playing ball, they can find out more this  Saturday during the Play Ball! Minnesota Youth Clinics at the Diamond 1 at the Steele County Fairgrounds fields from 9AM to noon. They'll be hosting a baseball and softball clinic for boys and girls 6-13 years old and will be broken up into two sessions according to age. The first session will run from 9-10:30AM and will be for kids ages 6-9. The second session is 10:30AM to noon and is for kids ages 10-13. No registration is required for the clinic, just show up and get ready to learn more about baseball and softball.

According to their website, "the Play Ball! Minnesota Youth Clinics have always been, and will continue to be, available to participants and communities free of charge. Funding for the Play Ball! Minnesota Youth Clinics is provided by the Twins Community Fund and Great River Energy" and "the clinic program serves as a way for the ballclub to promote the games of baseball and softball to boys and girls throughout the region."
