Power 96 at the Boost Mobile Grand Opening

Saturday afternoon I packed up the station rig with my sound equipment, banners and other paraphernalia needed for a remote and cruised over to the brand new Boost Mobile location in Faribault for their grand opening event. They are really easy to find. Their physical address is 1533 Highway 60 West, but it's just easier to remember that they are at the corner of Highways 60 and 21, in the same strip mall as Valvoline Instant Oil Change.

By the time I got there the rain had stopped, so I claimed a chunk of sidewalk out in front of the store and set up our sound system so we could crank up some classic rock from Power 96. During the broadcast I met store owner Rami Wadi as well as other helpful members of his team and was able to chat with Boost Mobile rep Chelsea Rose about some of the great deals being offered right now. They were also serving up some delicious food from the World Street Kitchen and samples of ice cream from Milkjam Creamery, both in Uptown. We wrapped up the entire event by giving away a 32-inch HD TV.
