Power 96 Cool One Recap

I was on vacation last Thursday and Friday so here's the a quick recap of the power 96 Cool Ones I played on those days.

On Thursday I featured a band called Angel and their single "The Winter Song" from their fourth studio album, White Hot. The album was released in January 1978 and gave them two minor hits, "Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore," which I've featured as a Cool One in the past and the aforementioned Cool One.

Friday's Cool One came from House of Lords. I highlighted their tune "Remember My Name" from their second studio release, Sahara. This album, released in August 1990, also contains the cover of Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home."

These two bands have something in common in that they both share keyboardist and composer Greg Giuffria in their lineup. He also put together the Giuffria. None of these bands ever attained the mainstream popularity that was hoped for.
