I've been a little busy at work lately and fell behind on my Power 96 Cool One Recaps, so here's what I've played the past couple of days.

On Wednesday it was Journey's "Too Late" from their fifth studio album, Evolution. Released on April 5, 1979, it was their most successful album at that time and it went to No. 20 on the Billboard 200. The Cool One reached No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their first Top 20 hit also came from this album, a little song titled, "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin," which peaked at No. 16 in the U.S.

Thursday's Cool One came from one of Fleetwood Mac's female lead vocalists, Christine McVie, who released a self-titled solo album back in 1984. From this album I chose the single "Got A Hold On Me," which made it to No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart. It would be another 10 years before McVie would release her next solo effort, In the Meantime.

Your next Power 96 Cool One comes your way at 4:35PM this afternoon courtesy of Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault.
