Power 96 Cool One Recap: Aerosmith

The Power 96 Cool One that kicked off this week came from Aerosmith's 1997 Nine Lives release. "Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)" was the first major single from the album and went to No. 35 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and landed at No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, where it held that spot for five weeks. Meanwhile, the album itself made it to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 on the strength of five successful singles, four of which made it into the top 10 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
