The Power 96 Cool One for Wednesday was from Canadian rockers April Wine. Off of their eighth studio album, Harder... Faster, I featured the single "Say Hello." It charted at No. 34 on the Canadian Singles Chart but failed to make a showing on the U.S. charts. The album, released in October 1979, fared better in the United States, reaching No. 64 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 25 on the Canadian Albums Chart. Harder... Faster also features their hit "I Like to Rock" and the a cover of the King Crimson classic, "21st Century Schizoid Man."

Formed in 1969, April Wine has released 16 studio albums, nine live albums and 34 singles over the years that they've been performing. They are also still touring and will next perform as part of Kerrfest in Oakville, Ontario, this Friday.

Please don't miss the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault, at 4:35PM this afternoon.
