Thursday's Power 96 Cool One came from Jason Bonham and his hair metal band Bonham. From their debut studio album release The Disregard of Timekeeping I chose the single "Guilty," which ended up on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart at No. 29. The album clocked in at No. 38 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

The Disregard of Timekeeping, released in 1989, was produced by Bob Ezrin and featured guest singer Trevor Rabin from Yes. Their biggest single was a track you might hear on Power 96 every once in a while called "Wait for You." It peaked at No. 55 on the U.S. Billboard 100 and No. 9 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The original lead singer, Daniel MacMaster, passed away on March 16, 2008, from Group A streptococcal infection at age 39.

Due to this afternoon's game at 4:30 and pregame at 4:15, today's Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts, has been moved up to 4PM and features another hair metal band that hails from Norwalk, Connecticut.
