Monday I started off the week with English rock band Bush as the featured artist for the Power 96 Cool One. I chose their hit single "Machinehead" from their debut album, Sixteen Stone, which they released on December 6, 1994. This Cool One peaked at No. 24 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and the Alternative Songs chart and No. 48 on the UK Singles Chart. Meanwhile, the album charted well in the U.S., topping out at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and No. 42 in their native homeland.

This album was the band's most popular effort, producing several charting singles including "Everything Zen," Little Things," and "Comedown" and "Glycerine" which both garnered them a No. 1 position on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

Please don't miss the next Power 96 Cool One brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault or online at www.kellysautosalvage.com at 4:35 this afternoon on Power 96.
