Wednesday's Power 96 Cool One was FireHouse's "Reach for the Sky" from their second studio album, Hold Your Fire. The single made it to No. 83 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 27 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album reached No. 23 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and spent 30 weeks on the charts. Two other singles from this album charted on the Billboard 200, "Sleeping With You" at No. 78 and "When I Look In Your Eyes" came in at No. 8. You probably remember them better for their 1990 self-titled debut release and their hit singles, "Don't Treat Me Bad," "Love of a Lifetime" and "All She Wrote."

Over the years FireHouse, a hard rock band out of Charlotte, North Carolina, has released eight studio albums, one live album and nine singles. Formed in 1989, this band is still touring and they''l be performing in Moorhead, Minn., on September 25 at the Bluestem Amphitheater.

Join me for the next Power 96 Cool One on Thursday afternoon at 4:35PM, brought to you Kelly's Auto Parts in Faribault.
