I've been picking out Power 96 Cool Ones for so long now I'm sure I've ended up repeating a few, and Wednesday's choice may have been one of those repeats. That's okay, Hardline's "Hot Cherie" is still a Cool One, and well worth the repeat airing. Taken from their debut release, Double Eclipse, this single made it to No. 25 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album itself, released on April 28, 1992, made its mark on the Billboard Heatseekers chart at No. 17 and also charted another single, "Takin' Me Down" at No. 37 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Hardline is a hard rock band formed by two brothers, Johnny Gioeli and Joey Gioeli. The original line-up also included Journey's Neal Schon.

Make time to join me this afternoon at 4:35PM for the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault or online at kellysautosalvage.com.
