Jefferson Starship was the featured artist on yesterday's Power 96 Cool One. I chose their No. 29 U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single, "Find Your Way Back", from their 1981 album, Modern Times. The single fared better on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, reaching No. 3. The album itself peaked at No. 26 on the BIllboard 200 and featured the return of Grace Slick after a three-year leave from the band. Three other singles were released from the album, including the promo single "Stairway to Cleveland" along with "Stranger," No. 48 on the Hot 100, and "Save Your Love," No. 104 on the Hot 100.

Make sure you're listening this afternoon for the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault. On today's Cool One, at 4:35PM, I'll shine the spotlight on one of the bands that Neil Schon has been a part of. Will it be Santana, Journey, Bad English, Hardline, Abraxas Pool, or one of the many others? You'll have to tune in to find out.
