Power 96 Cool One Recap: Last in Line

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One came from the remnants of the original Dio lineup minus Ronnie James Dio, of course, who died in 2010, and now minus Jimmy Bain, who passed away last Sunday while on the Def Leppard multi-artist "Hysteria on the High Seas" cruise. Luckily they were able to capture the sound of this new band fronted by Andrew Freeman in the studio and Heavy Crown, a new album from this group, is set to be released on February 20 featuring guitarist Vivian Campbell, drummer Vinny Appice, keyboardist Claude Schnell and the late Jimmy Bain on bass. Schnell is no longer with the band and whether this group finds a replacement for Bain and continues touring is still up in the air. The track I featured as my Cool One was a track from their forthcoming album entitled "Devil in Me."
