Power 96 Cool One Recap: Loverboy

Yesterday I chose a track by Loverboy called take "Take Me to the Top" from their 1981 release Get Lucky for the Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts in Faribault. This single made it to No. 23 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1982. As their sophomore effort, Get Lucky was a huge success, featuring the singles "When It's Over," "Lucky Ones," "Working for the Weekend" and, of course, yesterday's Cool One. The album clocked in at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart and enjoyed a nice two-year run on the charts overall.
