Power 96 Cool One Recap: Motley Crue

Last Friday's Power 96 Cool One was "Primal Scream" from Motley Crue's first greatest hits compilation, Decade of Decadence. The single made it to No. 63 on U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 21 on the Mainstream Rock chart. "Primal Scream" was one of three new songs released on Decade of Decadence, the other two were "Anarchy in the U.K." and "Angela." In addition there was a remixed version of "Home Sweet Home," which fared better on the charts than its original version, reaching No. 37 on the Billboard 100 in 1997, whereas the 1985 version only made it to No. 89.

Today's Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts, comes from one of my favorite heavy metal albums by a big hair band who made a drastic change in their musical direction with this aforementioned release and really showcased their musical abilities.
