The queen of rock, Pat Benatar, was my artist choice for yesterday's Power 96 Cool One. I tracked "Looking for a Stranger" from her November 1982 release, Get Nervous. "Looking for a Stranger" was one of three singles from the album to make the Top 40. It went to No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Little Too Late" made it to No. 38 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Shadows of the Night" peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in 1983 earned Benatar her third Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. As her fourth studio outing, Get Nervous, managed a 46-week run on the charts, peaking at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album.

Don't miss the next Power 96 Cool One, at 4:35PM, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault.
