I wrapped up another week's worth of Power 96 Cool Ones with REO Speedwagon's "Keep the Fire Burnin'" from their 10th studio album, Good Trouble. This single was the highest charting release from the album and peaked at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Released on June 11, 1982, it was the follow-up to their highly successful No. 1 album Hi Infidelity. This album also performed well for the band, topping out at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Some of the other singles you might remember from this album include, "Sweet Time" at No. 26 on the Hot 100, "The Key" at No. 34 and "Stillness of the Night" at No. 19 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Please join me today at 4:35PM for the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault. This afternoon's artist is a hard rock band out of Australia, and no, it's not AC/DC.
