Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One came from the progressive rock band, The Alan Parsons Project, off their second studio album I Robot. The Cool One I featured was the title track, an instrumental and the first track on their 1977 release. The album itself made it to No. 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Two singles charted for them with "Don't Let It Show" managing to get on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at No. 92 and "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" hitting No. 36.
