Last Friday's Power 96 Cool One came from Thin Lizzy. I picked the track "Waiting for an Alibi," their first single from their Black Rose: A Rock Legend album released in 1979. This is the only studio album featuring the work of blues rock guitarist Gary Moore, and it managed to make it to No. 81 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and fared better in the UK at No. 2. As the fourth track from their ninth studio album, "Waiting for an Alibi" never made it onto the U.S. charts but did make it to No. 9 in the UK and No. 6 in Ireland.

Although Jailbreak is probably their best-known record because of the singles "The Boys Are Back in Town" and the title track, I recommend that you give Black Rose: A Rock Legend a listen, as it is a very good example of some of Thin Lizzy's better work.
