Power 96 Cool One Recap: Toadies

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One was the Toadies' "Possum Kingdom" from their debut album, Rubberneck. The album came out on August 23, 1994, and peaked at No. 56 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Heatseekers chart. The single "Possum Kingdom" was released nearly a year later on August 1, 1995, and went to No. 9 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 4 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. A remastered edition of this album was issued in 2014 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rubberneck and includes five bonus tracks.
