On Saturday I packed our station SUV with the sound equipment and broadcast gear, grabbed some prizes and made my way down the street to Cricket Wireless, at 317 Central Ave., in downtown Faribault, for their all-day grand opening. I set up my equipment while the Cricket Wireless crew set up their booth, which was loaded with some cool Cricket swag that you could win playing Plinko.

Kymn Anderson from the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce was there for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10AM followed by my live broadcast from 10AM to noon. The grand opening included great deals with cell phone plans starting at just $30 per month. Plus, for a limited time, free select 4G LTE smartphones when you switch to Cricket Wireless. There were plenty of Cricket Wireless associates available to talk with about getting in on one of these fantastic deals.

Customers were able to enjoy free Subway sandwiches and register to win a 6-inch ZTE Grand X Max2 with a free month’s service, and I also some prizes to give away. It was another fun day for me, out and about, at the grand opening of Cricket Wireless in downtown Faribault.
