Caledonia, MN (KROC AM News) - No details have been released yet but preliminary information indicates there was an officer-involved shooting in Houston County in extreme southeast Minnesota Monday morning.

The incident apparently began around 2 a.m. with a police chase.

As of 6:30 a.m.,Highway 44 in the Caledonia area was closed. According to MNDOT, the closure is due to “accident investigation work” and there is no word on how long the road will be closed.

Several law enforcement agencies were at the scene, including the Minnesota BCA.
