The restoration of the Tilt-a-Whirl car was done by Rick's Restoration in Las Vegas, and the process and final project were filmed for the show "American Restoration," which airs on the History Channel. Last summer the finished product was revealed, and on Thursday, it will be placed on the corner of Central Avenue and First Street.

The installment of the Tilt-a-Whirl car will take place at 3PM, and in attendance at the public dedication will be Rick and Kelly Dale of Rick's Restorations as part of Faribault's annual Heritage Days Celebration. Check out all of the fun events, including a carnival sure to include a Tilt-a-Whirl, that are going on during Heritage Days here.

The Tilt-a-Whirl was invented in 1926 in Faribault and was manufactured in the community. Bring your camera and prepare to relive memories from your youth when you get a chance to sit inside the restored Tilt-a-Whirl at its new location in downtown Faribault!
