Rice County Attorney on AM Minnesota 1-22

Rice County Attorney John Fossum stops by the KDHL studio and will give us an overview of the duties of his office. Many of us probably don't have a firm grasp of everything the county attorney does so I thought it would be a very educational program.

We probably all know the county attorney prosecutes criminals accused of crimes in the county but they also advise the County Board of Commissioners on legal matters.

We will also touch on their victim witness unit and I asked Fossum if he could inform us about what it takes to petition a juvenile into adult court.
