Rice County Fair Executive Secretary on AM Minnesota

Rice County Fair Executive Secretary John Dvorak stops by the KDHL studio to discuss fair happenings this year.

Believe it or not, the fair is just four months away and will be here before you know it.

I know with snow in the forecast for tomorrow it probably is not something you are thinking about, but Dvorak and his Fair Board pretty much work year-round on the great Rice County event. This year's fun is July 19-24.

Tomorrow, Faribault Fire Chief Dusty Dienst stops by with some fire safety tips and Thursday we will visit with a Northfield Hospital and Clinics physician about colon cancer awareness. Dr. Randolph Reister will be joining us via telephone Thursday from Northfield.

We have orthopedic specialists scheduled to join us from the Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic over the next few weeks also. Dr. Stroemer joins us next Tuesday and Dr. Muench on April 13.
