Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn stops by the KDHL studio for a visit and we will talk about the topic in law enforcement these days, body cameras.

Last Friday we spoke with Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen about the issue and he said he believed the cameras should and will someday be part of every officer's uniform.

He added he did not want to jump in and outfit his force with them until some of the specifics are ironed out, such as what video is public and how long the video has to be stored.

We will see if Dunn agrees with the Faribault chief.

I also intend to touch on a few other topics if we have time. Farm safety will definitely be discussed because Dunn's department polices the rural roads where farmers are harvesting now.

And safety extends behind the farmers. People need to be aware and patient on rural roads so they don't have any mishaps with machinery.

I hope you can listen at 9:30AM.

If not, go to www.kdhlradio.com and click on the AM Minnesota tab or go directly to our YouTube channel and watch and listen at your leisure.
